Dr Evet Ishak is the owner and principal general dentist of St Mark Dental Group.
Dr Ishak graduated with a Bachelor of Dentistry with Honours from the University of Sydney in 2001. Prior to this, she has also completed a Bachelor of Dentistry at Cairo University in 1990.
She has worked in private practice for over 20 years. Her humble and genuine caring nature, and personality allow patients to relax and enjoy their time spent in the chair.
Dr.Ishak has been registered with the AHPRA since 2001 and is a current member of the Australian Dental Association.
Dr Ishak set up her first practice in Sydney’s southern suburb of Monterey in 2005. Her growing practice enabled her to move into a second branch in Wolli Creek in 2017.
She has a particular interest in the field of orthodontics and has completed the EODO 3-year mini-residency program in orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics with Dr Derek Mahoney. Also received her Graduate Diploma of Orthodontics City of London. Prior to this she has successfully attained a fellowship by completing a 2-year course with progressive orthodontic seminars in 2007 at the International College of Continuing Dental Education, Singapore. She also performs a range of treatments including Invisalign, Clear Correct, Fast Braces and Cfast.
As part of her continuing professional development Dr Ishak has attended a number of courses with the dental implantology academy and has successfully completed her Fellowship with the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry and New York College of Dentistry.
Dr Ishak has also completed her fellowship with the International Acadamy for Dental Facial Esthetics in New York.
NCA Infection control, management of medical emergencies and practise management courses.
Outside of dentistry Evet enjoys outdoor activities and travelling. She also has a keen passion for design and architecture in her spare time.
Dr Mina Azmi, BDS, ADC, Dental Surgeon

Dr Azmi is a dentist who loves to create natural, beautiful and captivating smiles without being invasive. He feels proud in having an aesthetic eye with gentle and skilful hands. His goal for patients is to provide the best dental treatment in a comfortable environment.
Dr Azmi’s special interests include restorative dentistry, endodontics and both removable and fixed prosthetics. Dr Azmi has attended many courses over the years including numerous root canal courses, medical emergencies, management of worn dentition, anxiety relief and extended prosthodontics.
His strengths are patience, attention to detail and his gentle and caring nature.
Dr David Bashout

Dr Bashout is a dedicated dentist who always puts his patients first. His friendly approachable manner ensures that all of his patients are comfortable.
Dr Bashout has a keen eye for detail and practices all aspects of general dentistry; his interests include Invisalign, preventative and paediatric dentistry. Dr Bashout has an approachable manner and delivers the highest quality treatment in a relaxed environment.
In addition, he is currently pursuing further education in the areas of complex restorative dentistry, Invisalign and implant surgery, as he believes in the importance of offering a complete range of services to his patients to give the highest quality of care.
Dr Juliana Tanios, BDS

Dr Juliana takes pride in delivering honest quality treatment in a safe and comfortable setting best suited to you! Dr Juliana has practised dentistry in both metropolitan and regional areas of Australia.
She undertakes regular professional development courses which ensure that her personal technique is always perfected. You can ensure that Dr Juliana has a great eye for detail!
Other than dentistry, Juelz has been playing soccer ever since she learned to walk! If you cant find her on the field, you will find her playing with her two cheeky nieces and nephew!
Delia Giannini
Practice Manager
Having joined St Mark Dental team Delia brings a unique, vibrant and energetic approach to the role of practice manager.
Her warm personality is complemented by more than 25 years’ experience in the industry in this time Delia has been able to undertake virtually every role, within a dental practice.

Delia believes that her understanding of these roles allows her to empathise and better connect with her team.
Amanda
Receptionist / Office Coordinator / Dental Nurse
Amanda has been working at the practice for over four years, and as such has developed valuable relationships with many of our patients. Amanda has extensive experience in nursing and customer service.
She currently spends her time alterrnating between her duties in the surgery as well as reception. She is skilled in assuring and advising both patients and staff members in difficult or distressful situations
Kendall
Head Senior Dental Nurse / Enrolled Medical Nurse
Kendall has worked at our practice since 2005 as a dental nurse and is furthering her studies at university as a Medical Nurse and has developed a wealth of experience and knowledge in the dental and medical field.
Kendall is loved by our patients for her happy nature and enthusiasm for dental health. There is often so much laughter coming from inside the room. She certainly helps to make dental visits less threatening.
Carol
Head Senior Dental Nurse
Carolyne is a friendly and experienced staff member who has previously owned 3 successful businesses on her own. Carolyne has been a member of the St Mark Dental team since 2013.
Carolyne has extensive experience in dental nursing and customer service. Her work ethic and knowledge of the dental industry is unsurpassed, and she is, therefore, a key member of our team.She works efficiently at the front reception desk to ensure every visit is a happy one. She loves being part of such a vibrant, cohesive team and being able to meet new faces and help so many different people each day.
You will see Carolyne at the front reception desk usually have a chat with our patients or In a treatment room assisting one of our resident Dentists.
Loves to travel aboard & also is a foodie always sourcing out new cafes & restaurants.
Miliyana
Dental Nurse / Registered Medical Nurse
Miliyana is a welcoming dental nurse of ours, who has been working with us for over 8 years. She enjoys the challenges that dentistry presents, and her work promotes consistent learning in all areas of the healthcare field. Along with this, Mili is patient focused and empathetic, ensuring the best possible therapy for all the patients that walk through our door.
Miliyana has just completed her study at the Univeristy of Technology in Sydney, studying Registered Nursing. She has a growing passion within the medical field and aspires to further her career even more. Even though she is our youngest member at St Mark she is highly skilled in the area and continually strives to put her best foot forward for the patients and practice.
Renata
Dental Nurse
Renata has recently joined the team at St Mark to further her skills in the healthcare industry. She is passionate to help others and enjoys the experience dentistry has to offer.
At the moment, Renata is stuyding a degree in Biomedical and Mechatronics Enginereeing at UNSW. Like her degree, she consistently asists the team in a range of areas.
In her spare time, she likes to keep fit at her fathers dojo, teaching self defence techniques of Wing Chun Kung Fu from Southern China.
Natasha
Dental Assistant
Natasha has recently joined the St Mark team to gain clinical skills and experience in the dental field for her future career as an Oral Health Therapist. She is dedicated to providing patient centred care, treating all with compassion and always having a friendly smile.
Currently, Natasha is studying a Bacehlor of Oral Health at the Univeristy of Sydney after completing her first year at the Univeristy of Melbourne.
